Artist statement

The singular mixture of my cultural backgrounds: Peruvian, Chinese and Canadian, and my own personal story in each of these cultures have created a unique cycle of memories and experience that has provided the context and inspiration for my works. My Graphic works investigates human gestures, food cultures and headwear identification, essentially the interaction of manners and behaviors through eye contact and body language. As well as motives and experience of daily occurrences, incorporated as part of my compositions.
